As we approach the beautiful hot weather, we wonder what we can wear to look trendy but also to not sweat right through our clothing. Summer gives us a chance to experiment with different styles and different colors. With these tips and tricks, you'll have an enjoyable summer where you'll feel confident and look radiant despite the hot and humid days.
Lighter Colors
Well, if you want to stay cool and breezy during the summertime I would suggest going for lighter colors. Not only will you look brighter and vibrant you'll feel cooler because dark colors tend to absorb more heat making the hot weather even hotter. The point is to stay as cool as possible. You don't have to avoid darker colors altogether but don't gravitate towards them when its's over 75 degrees outside. You'll sweat, the clothes will cling to your body more and you will feel uncomfortable for the most part.

Flowy Dresses/Garments
Wearing flow dresses during the summer is probably one of the best "go to outfits" because not only is it so comfortable and breezy it also looks like you've put effort into an outfit when you really haven't. Dresses are one of the easiest garments to wear and depending on the style you can either dress them up or down. If you really want to match the weather and the season, go for brighter colors and seasonal prints like flowers and just embrace the breeze.

Breezy Fabrics
As the weather gets cooler the last thing, you'll want is to wear thick fabric unless you're going to work in a very air-conditioned climate. However, beyond that you might want to stick to fabrics that won't leave you sweating and make you regret your choice of the outfit. Stick to fabrics like cotton, linden, and rayon. These fabrics aren't too thick and will be your best options for the upcoming hot and humid months.

Summer Hats
In addition to the clothing, you can think of adding accessories that will go perfect with the season as well. Big floppy summer hats are just a classic paired together with cat eye sunglasses and you've got yourself a very classic look that will never go out of style. The sun hat and sunglasses combination work well together for the beach, pool, and brunch date looks. Just a simple combination will go a long way and it could be your staple for the rest of the summer.

Small Handbag/Saddle Bag/Beach Bag
Summertime ohhh what kind of bag should I carry for my daily essentials during the summer? I'm sure you've heard the phrase less is more and during the summer that is so true even when it comes to accessories. If you want to feel comfortable during the summer stick to small bags and minimize the things you really need that day. If you want something bigger go for a saddle bag or a cross body bag and that way you won't have to carry anything, and you can keep the outfit plus the accessories to a minimum. If you do need to carry a lot, try a beach bag it will hold everything you need, and it will go perfectly with the season and its versatile, so it's not just limited for outdoor activities.

Let us ring in the summer in style and stay breezy and feminine!
