3 End Of Winter To Spring Outfit Ideas!!!!

Updated: Sep 8, 2023

Winter is ending and it can sometimes be tricky on how to style some outfits. Especially in the month of March it can be really confusing, the first two weeks can be cold and overnight it's much warmer but not too warm. Also, the colors change, and we start wearing lighter fabrics for the warmer weather. However, since the weather can be tricky in March and in April, I wanted to give some ideas on outfits that in my opinion are perfect for the end of the winter season. These outfits will also consist of great transitional pieces, meaning once the colder weather leaves just swap out certain bulkier pieces for lighter fabrics and it will be perfect for the warmer weather.

End of Winter Outfit #1

For this outfit, I decided on a black mock turtleneck with jewels on the side of the neck, and I paired it with a floral pencil skirt. Since it's still cold outside I would suggest wearing black hosiery and top the outfit off with black pumps. For accessories, I added sunglasses because in the winter you still need sunglasses, I then added a mint-colored purse that brings out the outfit and gives a preview to spring. Depending on the whether you can opt out of the tights and you can wear nude heels to elongate the leg.

Transition to Spring Outfit #1

Now, the fun part about this outfit is that it's a good transition for the warmer weather. For instance, take the mock neck top away, keep the skirt, shoes (or change them if you want it will still work), handbag, and sunglasses and add a lightweight blouse. I think a white button blouse would be perfect or look at the colors on the skirt and pick out a blouse based on the colors from the skirt. Like a yellow blouse, green, light blue, or a fuchsia color. That is a tip my mother taught me when I was younger and it's a good tip that applies to any garment. Just make sure the colors go well together and complement each other. I added a navy blue lightweight blouse and nude shoes for this outfit to make it more spring like, feminine, and fun.

Here is an elephant print dress, but for the colder weather I layered it with a pull over sweater and booties. For accessories I added a statement necklace to give the outfit a bit more of a playful look. You can either keep this outfit casual and comfortable with thigh high flat boots or add a bit of lift with a pair of heeled booties, for a colored block theme I added a pair of camel-colored booties. Feel free to add a hat to the look and add a pair of sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.

Transition to Spring Outfit #2

For the cooler months I decided to remove the pullover sweater and add a light blazer. I also replaced the booties for a pair of peach-colored heels, I added the mint-colored handbag again and sunglasses to complete the outfit. While there is a lot of black in the outfit the handbag, shoes, and your makeup will definitely brighten up your look and you'll still look like you're embracing the warmer and cooler weather.

End of Winter Outfit #3

I paired this polka a dot pencil skirt with a black sweater that comes with a bow attached to it that adds an extra flare to the sweater.

The sweater is actually from Chicwish ( of course) and you can still get it, here is the link:

I also decided to add a pair of red leather heels for a pop of color. To continue with the theme of chic meets classic look I paired it with a red floppy hat.

Classy in polkadots and a splash of red.

Transition to Spring Outfit # 3

I kept the skirt and the shoes, but I swapped out the sweater for a blue linen blouse. The colors work well together, and the blouse will give the skirt a casual but fresh feel that is appropriate for the spring and a business casual environment. You'll look fresh, feminine, and stylish. I also changed the hat, from a winter hat to a big sun hat and it looks great. If you want to add sunglasses go and ahead and do so which will look even better.

Casual but chic too

I hope these outfits give you ideas on how to go from really cold weather to cool spring weather. It really doesn't take much to change the look of an outfit all it takes is some creativity and imagination. Remember stay feminine!
